What is knob and tube wiring?
Knob and tube is an early wiring method common in homes built before the 1940s. Wires run through ceramic knobs and tubes, with no ground wire, and the old insulation can become brittle over time.
Should I replace knob and tube wiring?
Many homeowners do, especially before a remodel, a sale or adding big loads like an EV charger. Some insurance companies also ask about it. We inspect what you have and give you clear options.
